Avery Sardine
Avery Sardine is the Jordan’s Principle Service Coordinator at MCFN, a role that allows her to give back to the community she grew up in. After spending her early years in MCFN, Avery pursued post‑secondary education and later returned home to support children, students, and families.
Avery holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Indigenous Studies from the University of Western Ontario. Through her role, she works closely with families and caregivers to help navigate Jordan’s Principle, offering guidance with applications, paperwork, and understanding what services and supports may be available. Her work focuses on advocacy, access, and ensuring children receive the resources they need to succeed.
Returning to work in her home community has been an important step in Avery’s professional journey. Her path highlights the meaningful roles members can step into at MCFN, combining education, lived experience, and a commitment to community care.
