Open call for members of MCFN Anishinaabe Language Revitalization Working Group

Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN) Anishinaabe Language Revitalization Vision Statement: To reclaim, revitalize and maintain the Anishinaabe language.
The Anishinaabe Language Revitalization Working Group will be made up of seven (7) members consisting of community, staff and a Council member. Community members are invited to complete the Survey of Interest Questionnaire for one of the following openings:
One (1) Elder: Must be MCFN Member
One (1) Knowledge Keeper: This position can be any MCFN member 18+ (preference given to those who carry a variety of knowledge in different areas)
One (1) Youth (16-29): Must be MCFN Member
Members will be provided with an honorarium as per Council approved rates.
Interested members must submit the following:
- Survey of interest questionnaire
- One (1) letter of recommendation from individuals who can reflect on the applicant’s suitability for the working group position.
