🌍 We’re Hiring! Event Coordinator – FIFA World Cup 2026 🌍
Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation (MCFN) is seeking an Event Coordinator – FIFA 2026 to help lead our Nation’s role as Host First Nation for the FIFA World Cup matches taking place in Toronto from June 12–July 2, 2026.
This is a unique opportunity to support one of the world’s largest sporting events while ensuring MCFN culture, protocols, and visibility are meaningfully represented on the international stage.
Key Responsibilities Include:
✨ Coordinating all MCFN involvement in FIFA 2026 activities
✨ Supporting culturally aligned ceremonies, protocol elements, and public events
✨ Working closely with MCFN leadership, Elders, Knowledge Keepers, the City of Toronto, FIFA representatives, and community partners
✨ Overseeing logistics, planning, and stakeholder engagement
✨ Ensuring treaty responsibilities and Host First Nation commitments are upheld
