Across Canada, Imperial funds scholarships to help Indigenous students gain the academic qualifications and technical skills needed to participate in our country’s growing workforce. Through Indspire, Imperial provides post-secondary awards to Indigenous students pursuing further education in communities across the country, with a priority focus on communities near Imperial’s operations.
Imperial Indigenous Scholarship Program
Since 2003, Imperial has provided more than $2 million to Indspire – most of which has directly supported Indigenous students through the Building Brighter Futures program. Through this program, Imperial has provided more than 600 Indigenous students with scholarships or bursaries as they pursue further education.
These scholarships and awards are distributed annually to Indigenous students from Imperial’s communities of interest who are attending
post-secondary institutions across Canada. |
