The HNHB Regional Cancer Program is dedicated to enhancing cancer care and outcomes for
Indigenous communities in our region through the HNHB Regional Indigenous Cancer Plan. Your
insights and experiences are vital in creating a plan that truly meets the needs of our
communities. We must strive to ensure that the perspectives of these communities are not only
heard but are integral to shaping our approach for the next coming years.
By engaging authentically with Indigenous communities, we can better understand their unique
needs and values, allowing us to provide care and support that is both effective and respectful.
This survey highlights eight key priorities that we believe are essential for an effective and
