Calling Indigenous Artists: Help Halton Region Honour Water and Reconciliation

Halton Region is seeking an Indigenous artist to create a mural at the Burloak Water Treatment Plant in Oakville!
The selected artist will create a mural that reflects themes of water protection, lived experience, community voice, and Reconciliation.
This project aims to honour Indigenous perspectives on water, including teachings from the Mississauga of the Credit First Nation and First Nations whose Treaty and Traditional Territory the Region exists on, and from Urban Indigenous community members across Halton.
The selected artist will create a mural that reflects themes of water protection, lived experience, community voice, and Reconciliation.
