Call for Submissions: UNF commissioned art feature for campus
Closes July 24
The University of Niagara Falls Canada (UNF) has extended the deadline for its recent Call to Indigenous artists.
In early June, UNF announced it was seeking artist proposals for a new commissioned art feature for the Lake Erie Library, located on the second floor of the university’s downtown Niagara Falls campus. The artwork will be prominently situated near the entrance, visible to all visitors as they enter the library.
The new deadline for submissions is noon on July 24, 2024.
The new deadline for submissions is noon on July 24, 2024.
UNF is looking for a standalone design that will be created off-site and installed on campus. The suggested size is approximately 80-inches high by 50-inches wide.
This call is open to Indigenous artists who are 18 years or older with a connection to Ontario. All submissions will be considered.
In their submissions, we request artists include concept images – or images of an already existing piece of art they would like us to consider – as well as a description of their interest in the project, and the proposed budget for the artwork and associated transport/installation costs.
Submissions can be sent to: communications@unfc.ca.
