Council House Grand Re-Opening
On October 25, 2024 MCFN celebrated the re-opening of our historic Council House. Built in 1882, the Council House has served as a vital seat of Anishinaabe governance and has been a gathering place for MCFN members for over a century. Thanks to contributions from FedDev Ontario, the MCFN Community Trust and the Ontario Trillium Foundation, the Council House will continue to serve our community for 100 more years.
