🚨 Emergency Alert System Test – Stay Connected, Stay Safe 🚨
Posted on February 25, 2026
MCFN will be conducting a test of our Emergency Alert System on March 31 at 4 p.m. to ensure we are ready to reach community members quickly in the event of a real emergency.
Â
When critical situations happen, such as a shelter-in-place order, forest fire, extreme weather event, or other urgent community safety issue, this system allows us to notify you immediately.
Â
If you’re not signed up, you will NOT receive emergency alerts.
Â
You have two options:
Â
📱 Download the MCFN App
Stay up to date on daily news, snow day notices, community updates, AND receive critical push notifications during emergencies.
Â
OR
Â
📞 Register for text message or phone call alerts here:
If you require assistance to install the app, to register for the service please contact communications@mncfn.ca and if elders require assistance to set up the service to landline phones Peacekeepers will come to your house and help.
Â
The test alert will help us ensure everything is working properly — but it’s also a reminder:
Emergencies don’t wait. Make sure you’re connected.
Â
Protect yourself. Protect your family. Stay informed.
