Solid waste
The MNCFN Public Works Department provides pickup services for recyclable waste and issues landfill cards for the THLFS (Tom Howe Landfill Site).

Infrastructure
Develops and implements standards and policies for the operation and maintenance of the First Nation’s infrastructure to ensure safety and to prolong the life of our assets for the following:

- Roads vehicles and roads/grounds equipment
- Communal water and wastewater lines including the lagoon
Note: Band-owned buildings and property does not include the industrial site (industrial building and plaza nor Native Horizon Treatment Centre).
Environment
Monitors the THLFS (Tom Howe Landfill Site) to ensure the landfill is operating in accordance with the THLFS Agreement. Oversees and implements recommendations on other environmental issues as they arise such as the Boston Creek Baseline Study and the Nichols Quarry.
Cemeteries
