Eligibility for the membership services provided by the office is that the person is entitled to be registered or is registered as a Member of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
It is important to register your child within the first year for the reason being your child will only be covered for services during the first year under the mother or father’s number.
Note: Minors’ cards expire every two years, so please check your status cards to ensure the card is up to date.
Documents required:
– Certified copy of live birth (long form)
– Parental Consent Form (is to be signed by both parents consenting to the registration of the baby on the Band list)
– And custody orders (if applicable)

*Certificates of Indian Status cards (CIS) may be obtained at the Lands/Research/Membership office every Thursday and Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m.
