Blue Jean Jacket Day – June 6
Posted on June 1, 2026
June 6th is Blue Jean Jacket Day — a day to raise awareness for Missing, Murdered, and Exploited Indigenous Men and Boys.
In Canada, Indigenous men and boys experience homicide rates nearly eight times higher than non-Indigenous males, according to Statistics Canada (2020).
Wear your denim in solidarity, honour their lives, and stand with families and communities calling for justice, awareness, and change.🧡
