Voices of Youth Indigenous Leaders program applications open

The Senate Committee on Indigenous Peoples is currently accepting applications for the Voices of Youth Indigenous Leaders program. This initiative highlights the leadership, achievements, and perspectives of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit youth while providing participants with the opportunity to engage directly with senators on issues affecting Indigenous communities.

The program is open to Indigenous youth aged 18–35 who demonstrate leadership through their work, education, community involvement, advocacy, or other initiatives. Selected participants will be invited to travel to Ottawa from October 27–29, 2026, to share their experiences and ideas with the committee. All travel and accommodation expenses will be covered.
