Extreme Cold Warning – MCFN Community Notice

Environment Canada has issued a warning for frigid temperatures expected tonight into early Friday morning (Jan. 29–30).
❄️ What to expect:
• Wind chills between -30°C and -35°C
• Frostbite can develop within minutes on exposed skin

🧣 Please take precautions:
• Cover exposed skin when outdoors
• Limit time outside if possible
• Watch for signs of frostbite: colour changes, numbness, tingling, pain or swelling
• If symptoms appear, move indoors and begin warming right away
