March 30, 2017:

In light of the recent tragedy affecting the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation on March 29th, a gathering place has been set up at the MNCFN Community Centre.

The centre is open to those affected by the tragedy, including community members, staff and students.

The centre will remain open until further notice.

Victim Services counsellors are available at the community centre.

Classes at Lloyd S. King Elementary School remain cancelled until further notice but the building itself remains open. Buses are also cancelled until further notice.

All regularly-scheduled MNCFN Social and Health Services programs have been cancelled until further notice.

In addition, the planned Annual General Meeting for the MNCFN Community Trust on Saturday, April 1, 2017 has been cancelled.
