About Jonathan Ferrier
Jonathan Ferrier, PhD, BSc, BA, is an Anishinaabe scientist and professor of Biology at Dalhousie University.
Jonathan will be the keynote speaker for evening, sharing his knowledge of Traditional Native medicines that help with addiction ie: nicotine dependence and those that help aid in the prevention and treatment of cancer and diabetes. He will also be sharing some of his teaching and stories on the use of Tradional Tobacco.
5:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. – Traditional meal served
6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. – Keynote Speaker
This free event is open to all community members. Meat provided and registration will be required for catering purposes.
