Learn to Paddle Level 1

This free event is open to anyone ages 12 and up and able to swim 50 m. Registration is required as space is limited.
Please wear comfortable clothes, and bring a water bottle, towel and a change of clothes.
Transportation is available if required.  Pinehurst Conservation Area,  468 Pinehurst Road., Ayr, Ontario (just north of Paris)
Participants are expected to dump a canoe, bring it to shore, empty it, do a canoe-over-canoe rescue and swim 50 m. with the paddles.
Community Sports & Recreation Programs are made possible through Grants Ontario, Ontario Sports, and Recreation Communities Fund.
Registration is required by June 6, 2018.
