The importance and how to receive an Anishinaabe name with Peter Beaucage.
This workshop is intended for the community to gain an understanding of Anishinaabe naming.
****This is NOT a naming event/ceremony****
All attendees are asked to register for meal preparation before Friday, November 16, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. in order to have adequate meal supplies. (This includes any children attending).
Child care is available, please call prior to 12:00 p.m. on Monday, November 19, 2018 if required.

Peter Beaucage is a resident of Nipissing First Nation. Travelling on a healing journey for 39 years and retired from Canador College as a college professor after 25 years teaching Indigenous Wellness and Addictions Counsellors Program. A member of the Three Fires Midewin Lodge since 1995. ” I travel into First Nations when requested to conduct the Sweat Lodge and Pipe Ceremonies, Naming Ceremonies, workshop presentation and consulting of traditional protocols “.
