Spirit Point Wilderness Academy and Camp Depart at 8:00 a.m. from LSK February 19, Return at 5:00 p.m. to LSK February 22, 2018 Registration/Info night will be held on Thursday, January 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the Community Sports & Recreation Office 2789 Mississauga Road, Bldg #4 (behind the community gym) For further information, please contact Andrea King-Dalton at 289-527-0009 or email andrea.king-dalton@mncfn.ca Open to Grades 9 - 12, all meals will be provided.  A list of what to bring will be provided at info/registration night. This camp will include outdoor education, ice fishing, team building, drum making, snow shoeing, skating, broomball, hockey, hiking, low ropes course, shelter building, traditional teachings & hand crafts!

A message from Victim Services Haldimand Norfolk New Credit: “We offer one-on-one assistance to help deal with the problems arising from a criminal or traumatic incident or situation. Our representatives work closely with community agencies to provide an effi cent and comprehensive service to ensure that the needs of each victim are properly met. We provide Mobile Emergency Response System (MERS) alarms to those at high risk of domestic violence and sexual asssult. We provide immediate fi nancial compensation to victims of the most violent crimes for counselling, funeral and emergency expenses through the Victim Quick Response Program (VQRP).” Light refreshments available. Community Kitchen

Community Kitchen is a great program for anyone who would like to eat healthier or who would like to learn how to cook. Under the Diabetes prevention program, community members can cook a healthy balanced meal to take home. All of the ingredients will be provided, participants will cook and share with others in the community kitchen. Healthy eating is a prevention for diabetes! Come out to learn new recipes and tips for cooking, to share your knowledge with others and try something new! Please bring a reusable container so you can take your delicious, healthy meal home.
