In Southern Ontario dead crows and blue jay carcasses can be submitted for testing:
Birds must be intact and reasonably fresh (not obviously rotten, no maggots or scavenging)
Birds that are found on roadsides are acceptable. Other species of dead birds accepted: Any waterfowl (ducks, geese etc.); raptorial
birds (eagles, hawks, falcons, kestrels, owls, etc.)
