Re: Suspicious Vehicle on MNCFN on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018
Mississaugas of the New Credit First Nation Chief and Council are asking community members to be aware of a suspicious vehicle observed on the territory on Sunday, Nov. 11, 2018 near the “Townline Estates” complexes on New Credit Road.
An alert community member spotted the vehicle around 7 a.m. on Nov. 11 parked in the roadway facing the Townline Estates complexes.
The vehicle remained there throughout the day. The observant resident noticed the same vehicle, occupied by a lone man, at 12:50 p.m. that same day. The community member questioned the man at that time and he stated his vehicle had broken down and he was waiting for help.
The vehicle was still in the same spot at 3:15 p.m. Police were called at this time, who questioned the man, and subsequently let him go due to lack of evidence of wrongdoing.
Police did state that if the vehicle is noticed in the area again to contact them immediately.
The vehicle is a silver/grey SUV with the license plate BYXZ 014. The man is described as being in his late 20s to mid 30s with short brown hair, wearing rectangular glasses and has a moustache.
Please report to police immediately at 905-772-3322 if you spot the vehicle again.
